To create a safe Chicago where all our children have the opportunity to learn, develop their talents, and thrive, we must significantly increase the resources in our schools and make them the center of our communities. This is why the Brighton Park Neighborhood Council partners with neighborhood schools to offer education and support services to students and their families. We also advocate for education equity, as well as parent and student involvement in decision-making processes.
BPNC has established full-service community school partnerships with eight neighborhood public schools in the Brighton Park community. Our programs are designed to improve educational outcomes for at-risk students through academic support, social-emotional support, violence prevention programs, enrichment programs, and mental health services.
Discover how BPNC supports students in succeeding by providing academic assistance to at-risk 8th, 9th, and 10th graders at partnered community schools.
